Quiet Night In

It’s basic, it’s quick & dirty but I appreciate it. I came home from work tonight quite tired (I love unpaid overtime) and decided to do nothing but watch bad TV, drink the rest of the bottle of wine in the fridge and take the odd glance at the internet. Oh, and mess around with my newest baby, a 5D. Let’s just say I finally fully appreciate my cheapest lens, the 50mm f1.8 (or nifty fifty/plastic fantastic). I promised myself I’d buy one if nothing new was announced at PMA. Justified in that the amount of weddings I’ll be doing with it this year make it a worthwhile upgrade from the 20D. It’s not that I like spending money, I’ve just gotten used to it over the years…
Oh, I am so jealous Ryan, I pay daily visits to ebay just to look longingly at the photos of the 5D on Kea Photo. Congratulations (I promise, that wasn’t through gritted teeth).
Hey, what happened to your sale of your old camera? You found a seller didn’t you 🙁
Claire, I promise to let you have a go at the blog awards 🙂
Reggy, I did indeed find a buyer. You were trying to confuse me with your comment weren’t you? Cos I was the seller… 😀
Ahhh! quiet nights in. I love them when you get new gear. Tonight I’m spending time with my new 10.5mm fisheye lens and a few bulmers 🙂 Prepare for the weirdness (flickr photos that is) later.
hehe damn! It didn’t work! You’re too smart for me Ryan! haha damn that was quick. I had no hope! haha oh well. I’ll just have to learn on my Dad’s old school 35mm Nikon 😉
I’m going to hold you to that Ryan!
