I am thrilled for the 2 of you could not happen to a nicer pair. TBH that was a very quick and relatively painless purchase compared to the hell some folk have to go through, but I will say the problems you encountered seem to be very common and the killer is totally out of your control.

Just a thing to remember for the future, enjoy this house as much as you can, enjoy making your mark on it, dont rush it you have plenty of time because you may well outgrow this house and need some where bigger, when it comes to selling and buying another place its a real pain in the arse, especially if the house you intend to buy is secondhand. buying and selling at the same time is something I did 3 years ago and I can honestly say neither myself or Paula will ever do it again.

Anyhow I await my invite to the housewarming, email me ryan for my address.

Well done again.

Congrats on the new house. 2 months from offer accepted to moving in is fantastic. My last mortgage took 7 months to sort out due to the incompetence of the financial institution used (name witheld). Anyway best of luck with the house. Will there be a pack of dogs soon?

Congratulations. It's touch and go whether I'll ever own a place - I can't decide if I should be heartened by your success or just give up. You grown-ups just have it all sussed. Anyway, Bubble Brothers are very flattered you celebrated with the blog fizz. And if you want a lawnmower - I think 'restoration project' is about the right phrase for it - I've got one you can have.

Wooo, well done you two. Hope you enjoy the new place. Try not to damage yourself too much with wacky DIY projects - you're dangerous enough with a mount cutter, I dread to think of you with an edge trimmer ;)
