Yarrrrgh, after being meme’d by both Caitriona and Rick, I thought I better get my ass in gear and actually pay it forward.

This is my first meme (I think) so be gentle. There are rules. Somehow there are always rules…

1. Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged, write a blog post about their own 8 random things, and post these rules.
3. At the end of your post you need to tag 8 people and include their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment and tell them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Here’s the part where I try to think of 8 random facts about myself. I’ve given up trying to think of ones that’ll be interesting to read.

1. I’ve smoked a sum total of 3/4 times in my life. Once when I was about 12/13 and a couple more times when so drunk I couldn’t even uncork my next bottle of wine. Sometimes when you get to sit with a pretty girl, you’ll do anything to keep yourself sitting there…
2. Clint Eastwood is my favorite actor; Dirty Harry being my favorite character. Only because he reminds me of my dad. Christopher Walken is a close second.
3. I never went to a real college or got a real degree. I promised myself I’d do so before I turned 30, but time is ticking on.
4. I recently succeeded in getting on the property ladder with my much better half (moving in next week hopefully)
5. Out of all my clothes, the majority of people I’ve met in my life have probably ever only seen me dressed in the one specific t-shirt and pair of pants. Oh how I love those damn pants. (Points for anyone that can describe the combo)
6. I’ve gotten away with shaving about once a week for the last about 8 years. Maximum of twice if there’s some important event on during the week. I’m not bothered in the slightest that I get tri-colour stubble.
7. I worry, constantly, about my credit card debt.
8. “Egg in bread” is a little known culinary delight I’ve recently perfected. (Oil and butter in pan, take slice of bread and cut square hole in middle. Fry bread in pan for a few mins, break an egg into the hole in the bread and fry for a few mins more. Flip and repeat. Serve with yolk of egg soft. Calorific!)
