Something a little different this year. Different than watching the wren boys and then having to suffer the sight of the annual stiff upper lipped fox hunt. This time to Vernon Mount to enjoy some motocross. Better than staying at home!

I’ve been up there a few weekends in 2006 alright… This was the first weekend I’d been there when it was an ‘official’ competition thought. That is, pay to get in. Normally it’s free, which is why I thought the guy collecting the money was taking the piss first…
9 times out of 10 I find that it’s pure luck I get up there.. I’d be driving down the south link and see the bikes. I live within line of sight of the track so some Sunday’s it’s only a matter of poking my head out the back door to see if it’s on.
If I hear in advance of a weekend it’s on I’ll pop you an email…
