The results of a recently organised boards.ie trip to Donadea Forest Park in Kildare. It was an overcast, rainy day but a good day for a walk in the park none the less.

Ample opportunity for photos of golden coloured autumnal leaves and the odd bug, as above, that clung to the parks statues and monuments. It wasn’t long before the drizzling rain became altogether too much to handle for some and minds turned to talk of the pub. My mind turned to thoughts of sleep, having lifted myself and the better half from bed at 6am for the drive to Kildare.

After a very welcome snack courtesy of Ed’s missus (cheers for that Ed’s missus) and some 1Ds fiddling courtesy of Bobby, we headed onward to Dublin to rest before the night out. The following mornings weather was far superior and so a few of us took the opportunity to get some exercise and a few more photos.
That’d be about it. All of the Dublin shots were taken along a few hundred meter stretch of canal in Rathmines. How’s that for a pretty useless fact? There’s plenty more of this kind of thing around on Flickr, should you feel the need to have a poke around.

These are superb. I love the top shot, the light is just wonderful in it. And the close up of the mini, the dark colours work so well.
Awh you were in Dublin again?!! Next time… tell me!
The missus accepts your thanks greatly
She’s a great ol’ gal.
