Well, I obviously missed the exhibition and I missed meeting you! Life got a little crazy there and I didn't even get to check my emails and etc. Boo! Hopefully there'll be other chances! Glad things went well for you though! :D

Just to let you know I'm sending a couple of photos that you took of Smudge into a competition! Everybody here loved them. First prize is £250 worth of vouchers which are all yours (I'm keeping the framed photo though).

Hugs and no conversation!

Get those photos of Spraoi up, quick. I'd love to see them. Missed it this year. Heading home to Waterford in Nov. though.
Hey, come here; what's with all the sad & depressing shit? Hope things are looking better for you and that life is treating you good.

Hey,

Didn't actually make it around to you...because, you guessed it, it started raining! I decided to take shelter under a tree in the green, and by the time the rain passed, I was against the clock to make it out to Dun Laoighre to photography the festival of world cultures! Needless to say, the pager going beserk put paid to that..JUST as I arrived in Dun Laoighre, and I ended up having to high tail it back to Temple Bar! :(

Overall, I was disappointed (amazed) by the standard of photography on display. Yes, there was some stunning work (yer wan with the U2 pics, Peter Cox and some arty farty dude who's card is up in my room but I'm too lazy to get) really stood out, along with one or two others, but, there was a LOT of shite there too!

Another thing which struck me was the very low prices people were selling good quality images / prints / frames for. I strongly believe that the majority of people who actually managed to wring out a sale made absolutely nothing out of it, everything was way under-valued!! Just my thoughts on things anyways! Sorry for not getting around to say hello!

Sounds like a good weekend was had by all then, especially with that intriguing beer!

Did you ever look into the Art in the park in the Peace Park? I passed there on Saturday evening but I was too tired to ask anyone about it. Might be able to get a few sales there too?
