Well the 70-200 is a given, I'm getting that even if it rains frogs....

By and by, it's occured that I could get a very rarely used (but still secondhand) 5D for around the same price as a 30D. Psh, it seems like a no brainer now. I'll just have to go and take a look at the condition of the 5D.

I've held off even trying out a 5D for the very reason that I would most likely end up buying one there and then. I did try out a 1D a while back and totally fell in love with it, but, I'm nowhere near compotent enough to justify that kind of money....yet!

To be honest, having invested in a proper lens (the 70-200 f/2.8L) a while back, I'd endorse buying decent glass sooner than getting a new body. The difference between an average lens, and a pro level lens is just stunning, far more so than the difference between an above average camera (20D/30D) and a pro-level camera (5D/1D).

Added to this is the fact that as you become a better photographer, your glass will be transferrable to a better camera anyways.

So, as I said before, for the 70-200, DO IT, and play around with some L glass similar to the Sigma kit you already have and see the difference there too!
