Having a stroll around the lough in Cork city is a bit of a Christmas day institution; it’s the perfect place to work off that ill feeling from the huge pig-out earlier that day. Second the *wow* on the swans taking off. I’ve what I hope is a similar angle of a mallard in Stephen’s Green from this afternoon but I won’t know till I get it developed.
I love the contrast between the textures of the water in the first and last photos. The first one looks like asphalt, the last like silk. I hope I don’t sound like a twat!
