		<description>I was one of the lucky ones able to get tickets for the last show and i have to say what a fantastic night it was they showed Casablanca my god the feeling in the cinema at the end of the night was one of sadness as you look around and think ill never see a movie here ever again it really is an end of an era</description>

According to what he read in the Examiner, the building will now be used for apartments and retail purposes. I can&#8217;t complain, this particular cinema has been in a bad state of repair for a long time although it had ye olde style theatres. I remember seeing Gattaca in screen 3 or 4 years ago and it was in a tiny room with vertical patterned wallpaper. The main theatre was much larger but other cinemas around Cork attracted the audiences. [...]</description>
