Sat amongst the dead, gutted fish and the trillions of rock hoppers* on this stony beach in the east Cork town of Guileen. Several kids jumped off the rocks into what I would consider shallow water time and time again if only to see me flinch every time, waiting for one of them to cap themselves off the sea bed. A nice place to visit, just don’t sit on the shoreline!

*I’m not talking about rockhopper penguins either!
